IndiaMART takes money and still sends you enquiries that go nowhere. We tried the logic. The charges are real, and for us the business was not.
The catalogue lives on padmalights.com. Prices are indicative, and you talk on WhatsApp. Trade starts at 10 pieces, and one to five pieces are retail with no discount. The bill comes from the works. A listing in the lane could belong to anyone. Payment and freight details are on About and shipping. The website shows the models. WhatsApp is where the order is written.
What the website shows that a listing hides
The catalogue is 201 cast aluminium models in four jobs: gate, wall, hanging and pole. Use the counts on the category pages when a portal card says "many varieties" and shows one photograph. Each category has its own page, so an architect can send a code and not a keyword. Prices on the site are indicative and ex-works Aligarh, with freight extra. That sentence is dull, and it is also the one a portal card usually skips, which is how a buyer discovers the real number after the advance has moved.
The holder on the outdoor range is B22 unless you ask for something else. Heads can ship empty, or with glass and LED, if the quote says so. A lantern that isn't a stock size still needs a physical sample and a run of fifty or more. None of that fits in a marketplace tile, but it fits in a WhatsApp thread with +91 70176 62533 or an email to padmaenterprises55@gmail.com.
A portal card also won't tell you that we have never shipped an export crate. I say that on a call, because importers trust the empty space more than a flag icon.
How to tell this works from a copied card
Aligarh goods get pasted onto portals by people who have never stood on our floor. The legal name on our bill is Padma Enterprises, a proprietorship of Yogendra Kumar Varshney, with the works in Premier Nagar, Aligarh. Those lines are on About, along with the map. If a listing's invoice name doesn't match, you are not buying from this workshop.
Dharmendra and Yogendra started the sand-casting shop in 1990, and the About page records the shift toward die-casting. A portal profile that says "since decades" and gives no works address is not a substitute for that page.
We are not on IndiaMART because the fees were real and the enquiries were not. The counter is the same WhatsApp desk the family has always used, open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 17:00. Kunal answers as marketing director, and the other workshop numbers are on About if you already have them. We aim for a same-day quote when the codes are clear, though that doesn't mean a custom mould appears overnight.
What an order from the works looks like
Trade lots and retail handfuls are different desks. The rule, the 50 percent advance on a confirmed order and the balance before dispatch are written on About so they aren't improvised in a chat. Billing is in INR. About 4 days is typical for around 10 stock pieces, and a bigger lot takes 1 to 2 weeks. Freight is by courier inside India, or by air or sea if you are asking about export. We have not completed an international order yet. The shipping page says the route is set up, and I won't write as if a crate has already landed.
Warranty is twelve months for a manufacturing defect, and it is a replacement part, not a cash refund. Photograph transit damage quickly, and the returns page says how. If a holder fails and we have the part, that is a workshop conversation, not a portal ticket. Cities we already talk to include Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow, Jaipur, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Kochi, plus others listed on the site. The fitting still leaves Aligarh, and a portal doesn't change the monsoon.
