When the counter wants an empty body
Empty means a die-cast aluminium housing, in the powder coat or antique wipe you confirmed, packed without glass and without LED. The body comes from the Aligarh works, and the glazing and lamp are done at your counter, by your electrician or on site.
It is the stronger choice when:
- Your shop already stocks glass and B22 or LED modules locally and you want to control the look.
- The project electrician will fit the glass on site and you are only supplying the metal head.
- You want to stock cast bodies of the popular codes first and add glass in a later lot. Lock the codes first so the finish batch stays the same (see the dealer stocking map).
Write "empty", "housing only" or "empty body" on the line. If the quote says nothing, the packing team may assume glass and LED.
When the shelf needs glass and LED fitted
Complete means the quote specifies glass and LED: a ready head that looks right on a shelf or goes up quickly on site. A bulb is included only when the quote says so explicitly, so assume the bulb is separate unless it is written.
Order the complete fitting when:
- A retail or showroom shelf needs a head that is ready to plug in and show.
- The job is a society or builder handover and the client will not arrange glass separately.
- An architect or contractor has asked for a complete lantern on the drawing. Settle the empty or glass and LED line first (see the architect spec sheet).
If a consultant wants an honest line on body and finish, ask on WhatsApp. There is no lab rating on the site to quote.

Terms that apply either way
These figures are already published on the site, and nothing here is new:
- Trade lots start at 10 pieces. One to five pieces are sold at retail list with no trade discount.
- Payment is 50% advance on a confirmed order, with the balance before dispatch.
- Billing is in INR, ex-works Aligarh, with freight extra. Works address and terms are on the About page.
- Timing follows workshop time, described on the About page. A new mould still needs your sample and a fifty-piece run, so try a listed size first.
- Freight is by weight or volume, by domestic courier from Aligarh 202001, and confirmed after the exact measure. See shipping.
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 12 months. Padma sends a replacement part, not a cash refund. Send transit damage photos quickly (see returns).
Empty and glass and LED cartons pack differently, because glass is the fragile line. Stating the configuration on the quote matters for both packing and the freight estimate. A mixed lot, with some heads empty and some complete, is possible if you write the type on every line.
