The first shelf should be short. This is a starter stocking map built from real catalogue codes across gate, wall, hanging and pole lights. It is a workshop recommendation, not sales ranking data, and it doesn't promise that every market moves the same twelve heads.

Why the first shelf is twelve
Counter demand clusters. Most walk-ins want gate or wall lights for a house elevation, hanging lights for a porch, and poles when a driveway or society path is in the brief. A shelf that covers those four jobs in a few sizes beats a wall of lookalikes that differ by two millimetres of ornament.

Finish, empty housing and batch consistency
Stock one finish family per open carton run (antique wipe, matte black or grey) so two boxes of the same code don't drift on the shelf. Being the manufacturer helps here, because it is the same mould and the same coating floor. Ask for batch finish on the WhatsApp order when you are filling a dealer wall or a project elevation that will be photographed together. How wipe and coat behave, without a made-up IP rating, is in powder coat and antique.
Fittings can ship empty, or with glass and LED, as specified. Empty suits dealers who glaze and lamp locally or match site electrics, and glass and LED suits a retail shelf that needs a ready head. Minimum order and dispatch
Don't fill the godown on day one. Open with small counts across the twelve codes, enough to show and sell, then reorder the movers in lots of 10 or more in one finish. The piece count, the advance and freight are written once on the About page and shipping, so check them there instead of copying them onto a rate card from memory.
Custom lantern sizes still need a physical sample and 50 or more pieces, which makes them the wrong first stock move. The die-cast poles we make run from 2 ft to 15 ft, and the three pole codes above are catalogue starting points, not every height you will ever quote.
