When a pendant is the right fitting

Drop length is the soffit height, minus the clearance, minus the body height, plus the canopy thickness. A chain lets you trim on site, while a rigid rod fixes the look once it is cut. Wind, monsoon and open verandahs
North Indian farmhouse verandahs and coastal entries move air. A long free chain turns a cast body into a pendulum, and glass panels don't like swinging against a masonry reveal. Prefer a shorter drop, a rod where the brief allows, or a canopy detail that limits sideways sway. Packing from the works protects glass in transit, but the site install still needs a sober ladder crew, not a festival rush.

Glass, B22 and empty versus complete

Batch finish matters when a society or farmhouse orders six matching pendants for a long verandah. They only match if they are finished together, and ordering half now and half next month can show a small colour shift along the porch.
What to put in the porch message
Write the soffit height and the clearance you want under the glass, then a code from the catalogue PDF or the hanging category. Add the finish, empty or glazed, quantity, city, and whether the verandah is open to wind or you'd prefer a rod. You get the code confirmed in the chat, with a photograph of the pendant we will pack.
